4 Chicks You Should KNow

Ok at the risk of sounding lazy, I have struggled in the past few weeks and quitting is looking really good right about now.The thing is that the mood sometimes strikes me and I write. And sometimes well enough to be read. Yes I am sometimes so good, I block myself! So today I wanted to share 4 Chicks I like and/or love and you should too!

Why 4? Because I am feeling lazy! :) Enjoy!

4-Nostalgia Chick

Oh yes! This lovely girl will disassemble and murder all of your childhood cartoon heroes (like we girls had any) and make you wish you didn`t find it funny. She enlists the help of her childhood friend, and peeps, the hilarity of it cannot be expressed here. Must be watched!! I absolutely love her silly wit and charms, but I find her voice as monotone as Kevin Costner`s voice. That is why she is at #4 instead of #1. Girlfriend-piece of advice, you are a girl! One of the most emotional beings on the planet! Put your heart into your voice woman!! Ok then say it like you need a Midol. (Booh yeah I know!) Either way, I love you. Keep up the good work.

3-Lori Randall

If you haven`t noticed by now, Social Media Marketing seems to be the “new” thing you should be doing. And if you aren`t, then talk to this lady. Lori is a social media marketer, business coach, and patron of the arts (ehm, my art LOL). I initially met Lori on tweeter as she asked about illustration work, and while I am not taking clients for custom work, I did say yes to Lori. We totally connected and had the strange epiphany that there was a reason we had connected. Now she has become a super cool friend! She is super clever chick you want to have on your side. She will school you on the latest techniques as she consults the world, one business at the time.

2-Nymphont

This is one of those chicks you are always happy to know and thankful to have on your side. As much as I know about everything art, specializing is always a good idea and Lauren has prove me right. She dwells in realms of beautiful dingbats and fonts that have gotten her much deserved font celebrity status. Not only does she develop typography, but she dabbles in web design too. She has lots of freebies and lovely templates to feast your eyes. Her super girly fonts really make wish I had more time to design fonts just so I could perfect my skills. She`s amazing, she`s cute and she knows her fonts!

1-Marelisa form The Abundance Blog

Sometimes online personas can be as deceiving as they can be charming. Trying to decipher the fakes from the reals it`s  extremely hard. Then came Marelisa. An attorney from the Republic of Panama, formerly a resident Washington, D.C. and former student at Georgetown University. Her blog articles aren`t about what sandwich she ate or how stylish are her shoes. This girl imparts intelligence and has substance. From how to get rolling out of procrastination, to the zen of…whatever, her subject matters are relevant and relatable. There is no political undertone or agenda to follow. Every times she writes it`s truly inspiring. She also has a great book too on how to be creative! WOW!  Marelisa, a Chick among Chicks!
