When I was a child, I visited a local museum in Lancaster that had a great letterpress history exhibit, or so I remember. I also remember it being TERRIBLY boring. I would have preferred to watch cupcakes cooling on a window sill. I went back a year when I was getting back into letterpressing and it was SOOOO awesome.

My Kelsey Excelsior was getting to know me (role reversal) and how I roll. Testing paper, playing with ink was incredible. Setting up the press, rolling the ink testing and creating prints would take me about 6 hours. It was a weekend job. So I decided to join a club that defines my tenure-The Ladies of Letterpress!

As I have grown with it and even simplified my process. I have learned to enjoy the printmaking process, in addition to being more patient with it. I think I am ready for bigger machinery, after my trip to Paris. That is, if the volcano doesn`t take a break.
