I wanted to invite you to join me as I explore Pentel Aquash Brush Pens and Yasutomo ink. All week long! They not only allow you to create strong ink strokes, but by giving the pen a little squeeze, you will unveil beautiful transparent washes.
I use either a 2h or 6h pencil because I do not want the marks of the pencil to be very visible.
The set of brush pens I purchased has three sizes- broad, medium and fine. Fill them up with water or liquid paint and watch their beauty.
You will need:
Yasutomo Chinese Ink
Pentel Aquash Brush Pens
Watercolor paper or Mixed media paper
**Make sure you fill your pen with water!
To get some of the lighter tones out of the pen, you must squeeze the pen a bit to allow the water to flow the bristles. The more you squeeze the more transparent the stroke. The less water added the more rich and dark the line work.
