When I was 13, I went through a phase where all I did was crazy hairstyles. From flat tops accomplished on straight hair, to a French twist that wraps to only one side of your head. I am fortunate that there is no photographic evidence of this.

Yet, at that time, it was something I loved doing and help me established a sense of identity. To be honest, had I not been accepted to the commercial art program, this would be a cosmetology blog. But I digress.

I realize that advice is not one size fits all. It is, autobiographical. You care about many things, and often told to stick with one thing. It`s okay to have many interests.

My relentless desire to be different, regardless of what the norm was still lives in me today. It’s just not as loud. You lose it’s as you grow older. #dearme don’t lose that. Cultivate it. It is what makes you, you.
