Some times from great loss, comes a period of renaissance. A rebirth, a purpose found in an old metier. I can’t say I am quite there but I have been making myself do other things than cry. Or listen to Ed Sheeran.
But, this quote touched me.
Before anyone says “It’s just a dog,” this dog was part of our family. Her absence is felt by all of us. We miss her dearly.
I like to think she is napping. That is exactly how she looked when she passed. That her illness made her so tired, she needed a nap.
She was buried next to our cherry blossom tree, facing our pine tree. She is evergreen. ❤
