Today is the second day of 30 Drawings in 30 Days, and today was a one color watercolor, but not black or dark. What better color to do this in than PINK!!! I love pink. Did I say that before? 30W30 One Color Watercolor Drawing

For my 30 Drawings in 30 Days, I have chosen watercolor as a medium. I had no clue what to do with just one color. Risking making the piece commercial, I watercolored an eye. I didn`t want to look at anyone`s eye. Just an eye. I wanted to do something beautiful. I love eyelashes, legs and eyes. I have been playing with this idea for a while. I wanted the equivalent of NaNoWriMo for art. I think to be able to write a whole novel in 30 days is pretty amazing. However, to produce artwork, under pressure, that has commercial appeal is not conducive of good art. Though 30 in 30 has been done before, I figure I place some restraints on what you can do. 243 items were discarded/given away. 27 items a day for 9 days. Mission accomplished. What do I feel? Exhausted. I am ready to move into my studio and live there. Though I chose some days to dedicate to clearing the kitchen and my bedroom, my studio that has this inviting feeling that you can`t escape.
