Holiday Plans

This holiday I have very lofty plans. Most of them include visits to family members, playing video games with my boys and breaking in my latest toy. See below. When I was 11 years old, my dad bought me a drafting table. It was that harvest yellow color and I spent a lot of time on it drawing. I loved it. Hold Them Close

  This year has been tough. Emotionally in ways I cannot explain to you. This past Friday we all had to face the ugly reality, that someone had taken 26 lives in an act that defies all logic. Parents lost their daughters and sons. Teachers. Spouses. Friends. My heart goes out to the Newton Community. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Illustrations, inspiration, What's new!

Beatnik Lounge Bait

Changing the pace a bit since I have final projects to produce, I did this piece for school. As you know I have been watercoloring more than using software to create art. This was created in Illustrator CS6. I had forgotten how easy software drawings are. Let`s just say Dave Brubeck was on iTunes while drawing. It was so much fun! I was asked by my teacher if I could send her the files directly to her because she wanted to show it to the faculty at Parsons. That made my day!
