 I love The General Pencil Co. white charcoal pencils. Specially on black pastel paper. The white is very opaque yet has enough softness to allow the grain to show though. You cab buy the pencils here-Charcoal White Pencils 2/Pkg-2B For the paper, I use Canson Mi-Teints paper. Though it is not suitable for wet media, i love gouache and and acrylics on this paper.
